Helpful tips to enjoy the Yankee Candle scented candle in a glass longer

Right environment
For perfect combustion, the candle should never be exposed to direct draughts. Nearby doors and windows should therefore be closed.

Shorten the wick
The wick should permanently have a length of between 3-5 mm, even at first use. If smoke is produced during burning, simply extinguish the candle, shorten the wick, remove all dirt and then relight the candle. A handy pair of wick scissors is perfect for keeping the wick short and clean.

Using an Illuma-Lid
The candle's best friend. Simply looks good, keeps the flame steady and ensures an even burning. Suitable for the scented candles in medium and large jar.

Wax Pool
Each time the candle is lit, the entire surface of the wax should be made liquid in order to obtain the most intense fragrance. This also prevents the formation of a tunnel. For each centimetre in diameter the candle needs about 30 minutes to burn, so for a large candle it takes about 3 to 4 hours.

Safe burning
Always light the candle on a heat-resistant surface, avoid draughts and use the candle out of reach of children and animals. Never leave the burning candle unattended. A candle extinguisher gently extinguishes the flame and prevents smoke and loss of wax.

Nobody wants to see the end of their favourite candle, but as soon as the wax of the candle has burnt down to 1 cm above the ground, for safety reasons, the time has come to say goodbye. Time to choose a new favourite scent!
