You can't recycle food with plastic in it, and you can't recycle plastic with food on it. Vegware is a visionary brand and global specialist in plant-based compostable foodservice packaging. We stock a range of over 100 Vegware products made from renewable, lower carbon, recycled and reclaimed materials. Vegware is made from a variety of plant-based materials. PLA is a compostable bioplastic derived from plant sugars. PLA is used in cold cups and deli containers, whereas CPLA, a crystallised PLA, is used with lids and cutlery when heat resistance is needed.
