The gas detector is designed to be wall mounted ~2m above the gas source to avoid false alarms during normal gas usage. To detect low density gas, the detector is installed approximately 0.3 m below the ceiling. In the case of liquefied gas with a higher density than air, the sensor is installed at a distance of ~0.3 m from the floor.
The detector is recommended to be installed at a distance of no more than 10 meters from the Wi-Fi router.
Notes: Do not store oil paint or alcohol near the sensor as these materials may damage the gas sensor. The device is not suitable for use in damp environments (e.g. bathrooms). Various chemicals, oil paints, cosmetics, alcohol, and so on can also cause false alarms.
