In order to adapt the cooling performance and volume development of the PC to their own and changing requirements, fan controls allow direct access to the fan speed. The manufacturer Lamptron is well positioned and offers a flexible range of fan controllers.
But the FC9 stands out among these very special, because here Lamptron does not rely on rotary potentiometers, as they have the most widespread fan control. Instead, the voltage of each channel is adjusted by means of a vertical slider - cool!
Not only does it go hand in hand in the truest sense of the word, it also attracts everyone's attention: the childish dream of becoming a pilot comes to mind when you get your four turboprops on the push. The exceptional look is enhanced by a stylish LED backlight, giving you maximum flexibility by choosing between white, blue, green, cyan, red, violet or yellow.
Although it is not quite the same amount of power as on a plane, the performance on each individual channel is unusually high. Up to 50 watts (!) Can be used to easily power and control multiple fans connected via a Y-adapter (not included). The full voltage range between 0 and 12 volts is available.
The Lamptron FC9 is connected to the power supply with three Molex plugs, whereby the manufacturer recommends one with at least 600 watts of power. In addition, it should be noted that the sliders protrude slightly, so that installation in housings with a front door is usually not possible.
