The grey CP5 thermal paste is a high performance heat conducting paste for overclockers and experienced system builders. It has a slightly higher viscosity, but is still light and above all thin - and perfect for creating an interrupted seal with the heatspreader.
A pea-sized amount is sufficient to completely cover the CPU surface and the paste requires little contact pressure to achieve its full performance. Included in the scope of delivery is a spatula, the size of which is suitable for all commercially available dies.
The paste offers very good values in terms of thermal conductivity (9.3 W/mK) or thermal resistance (0.007 K/W). In addition, the CP5 is not electrically conductive, does not corrode, contains no metal and resists drying out almost indefinitely.
