And an advanced signal processor (ISP) on the M1 chip that dramatically improves image quality. The ISP in the M1 chip uses computational videography techniques to enhance image quality. It goes through a series of stages of analysis and correction at the level of individual pixels of the recorded video, performing over a trillion operations per second. Advanced noise reduction algorithms make the image much clearer. Tone mapping extends the dynamic range to better reveal details in areas that are too bright or dim. ISP works with the Neural Engine on the M1 chip to intelligently adjust exposure and white balance. And you look great in any lighting.

We designed iMac to have as little impact on the environment as possible. One hundred percent of the virgin wood fibers in its packaging come from responsible forest management. The rare earth elements in the speaker magnets, fan motor and power connectors are all recycled. We have also made a commitment to use materials produced exclusively using electricity from renewable sources in the entire production process as early as 2030.
