In - Mold – System combining polycarbonate technology with EPS foam in the initial stages of production. The outside of the helmet is made of polycarbonate, while the inside is made of EPS foam (expanded polystyrene), all to optimize weight, wearing comfort and shock absorption.
OSS – Optimized Sound System – A system used exclusively in the ear pads of Cairn helmets. It allows for protection against cold, perfect fit to the ear, and increases sound transmission when using the helmet. This is crucial for safety on the slope.
WFS (Wheel Fit System) – A system for precisely adjusting the size of the helmet to the head. The wheel mechanism located at the back allows you to precisely adjust the helmet to the size of your head (within the size of the helmet), increasing safety and ensuring a perfect fit of Cairn helmets. WFS Cairn allows you to adjust from two to even four head sizes - depending on the selected helmet model.
