The Dreambox ONE Ultra-HD opens up a whole new chapter in digital home entertainment: it breaks through the technological barriers that have existed so far for Linux-based set-top boxes. The new Amlogic chipset enables the integration of Google’s Android operating system. Starting this summer, voice commands via Alexa will be one of the many new features of the innovative Dreambox ONE – the first of its kind.
The powerful technology is disguised behind the minimalist futuristic design of the compact Dreambox ONE. The Amlogic chipset S922X with 53,000 DMIPS consists of the Quad-Core processor ARM Cortex-A73 and the Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A53. In addition, the Dreambox ONE comes equipped with 2 Gigabytes of RAM as well as with a 16 Gigabyte flash memory. This powerful basis allows you to boot widely used operating systems such as Android 9.0 together with the Enigma OE 2.6.
The integrated HDR formats HLG and HDR10 provide brilliant pictures rich in detail in UHD resolution. The Dreambox ONE can be easily bound into a network with other equipment via LAN, WLAN and Bluetooth. In analogy with the new design of the Dreambox ONE, the infra-red remote control has also been freshly redesigned. In addition, a newly developed Bluetooth remote control will be made available to allow you to control the Dreambox ONE via this method.
Streaming Server:
The Dreambox One Ultra HD can be used as a streaming server for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets as well as for computers or clients such as Android sticks or other Enigma2 devices.
A suitable network environment allows reception on the road and on the move.
Control via smartphone or tablet:
With many apps, the box is completely controllable via tablet and smartphone.
Media Server:
The Dreambox One Ultra HD can provide recordings, videos, music or pictures as a media center for the whole house. Supported protocols for this are DLNA and UPnP.
Plugins:
The receiver can be adapted with plugins to your needs, additional functions such as weather apps, media management, various user interfaces (skins) and a huge selection of plugins for almost any situation are available.
