Sustainable wood from the Longan fruit tree
This board has a history: this Wood Works serving board is made from sustainable Longan wood. The Longan tree is a fruit tree that, when it no longer produces fruit, is normally only processed into charcoal. Because we believe this is a waste, we make beautiful serving boards from it.

An extremely strong serving board
Our serving boards are sawn in one piece, not glued and therefore extremely strong. The boards can be used on two sides and have two hygienic milled handles.

Water repellent thanks to protective Tung oil
And most importantly, because we have coated our boards with two layers of Tung oil, the board is completely foodsafe and water repellent. This Tung oil is also available separately so you can properly maintain the board for a lifetime of enjoyment.

Our Longan serving boards are unique, no two boards will be the same. They may have minimal deviation in size or colour.
