The Silverstone RM22-312 is a 2U server case with a black front. In addition to a large perforation for better airflow, this also offers numerous status LEDs, two USB 3.0 ports and a power and reset button. The two handles on the front make it easier to pull the housing out of the server cabinet with the optionally available telescopic rails.

The housing offers space for numerous internal and external data carriers . Mainboards up to the E-ATX form factor can be mounted . Seven low-profile slots are available for expansion cards. Three hot-swappable 80 mm fans are pre-installed to cool the hardware and data carriers.
