1. Our foods are distinguished by the fact that we prepare them from meat, i.e. the most valuable skeletal muscles, which are a source of easily digestible protein. Meanwhile, the vast majority of pet foods are made using all parts of animal origin.
Look for the word "meat" in the ingredients on dog food labels.
2. Protein hydrolysis is a process in which proteins are broken down into smaller parts so that the dog's immune system does not identify them as an allergen. This is because the small particles of the broken ingredient do not cause an allergic reaction. Foods with hydrolyzed protein are recommended for allergy sufferers. In addition, such protein is better digestible.
