The Hardwire kit contains all the components required for a simple "piggyback" from a fuse box of each vehicle. Simply insert the necessary fuse cut-off cable into the vehicle's fuse box to supply the camera with its own power supply. In this way, the Dash Cam can be installed in your vehicle without the need to use the 12V socket (cigarette lighter in the car). The cable also includes a blue LED indicator that indicates when power is available and when a Dash Cam is connected. When used with a "permanent power supply", the integrated minimum voltage limiter protects the vehicle battery from discharging. If the Hardwire Kit is installed on a "switched power supply", the Dash Cam switches on and starts recording automatically when the vehicle is opened or started. Compatible with 12-24V for car or truck installations. A simple plug-and-play solution for supplying power to each dashboard camera directly from the fuse box of your car and keeping your 12V car socket free.
