The Misty Island Train Set helps children develop dexterity. There are several hands-on activities. Children can take logs from various areas and move them around the playset. They can attach the logs to the crane with the hook and manipulate the crane toward Thomas' cargo car and drop the logs into it. When the track ends for Thomas, children will help save the day by moving Thomas into the zipline and sending him to safety. They can also spin the sawblade, too! There is also plenty of traditional train play including connecting engines and cargo cars, and setting up the crane and loop of track.
