The AM4 CPU socket AM4 was launched in 2017 with the AMD Ryzen desktop processors and due to changed hole spacing on the retention module of the motherboard with the CPU cooler to date enclosed mounting materials for the previous AMD sockets 754, 939, 940 , FM1, FM2, FM2 +, AM2, AM2 +, AM3 and AM3 + not compatible!
With the AM4 mounting set, be quiet! Customers will be able to make their coolers compatible with AMD's new AM4 socket.
Note: Do not use parts from the original mounting kit, even if they look identical! All parts of this mounting kit are only compatible with AMD AM4 socket mainboards.
