The Ascent

Welcome to the arcology of the Ascent Group, an independent, corporate-led metropolis that stretches high into the sky and filled with creatures from across the galaxy. You play the role of a worker enslaved by the company to which you and everyone else in your neighborhood belong. You do your part, no matter what miserable task you have been given. One day, while you are carrying out a routine task in which you have to use your cyberdeck skills, you suddenly find yourself caught up in a whirlwind of catastrophic events.

Save your neighborhood from criminals

The Ascent Group, the planet's largest mega-corporation, is down for unknown reasons, causing its automated security systems to fail. The survival of your neighborhood is at stake: rival corporations are trying to enforce appropriation, and crime syndicates are looking to increase the black-market trade in upgrades. You must take up arms to keep them from taking control and embark on a new mission to find out the causes of all the fuss.

Play with friends

Explore the world of Veles, alone or with up to three friends, to find out what happened. Your journey through the arcology will bring you impressive enemies, but also unexpected allies. Fully customize your character's appearance, skills and abilities, and acquire different types of weapons and equipment as you get stronger.
