Skottsberg® - Wood Works cutting boards
The Skottsberg cutting board is made of American maple wood. It is the perfect type of wood to enjoy cutting on without blunting your knife. Besides, did you know that a wooden cutting board is much more hygienic than a plastic one? Because the natural tannin in the wood kills bacteria. And maple wood contains another extreme amount of this bactericidal substance. We made this board by gluing head-sawn pieces of wood together, giving the board a self-healing ability and making scratches on your board almost non-existent. The Wood Works cutting board is extremely strong, so with proper use it will last a lifetime.

As the cutting board is oiled with our Skottsberg Tung oil, all pores of the wood are filled, preventing bacteria, dirt and moisture from penetrating. As a result, the board is optimally protected. One side of the cutting board has a channel with a reservoir, for catching meat, fish and vegetable juices. Its other side is smooth, for cutting drier ingredients. The sides of this Skottsberg cutting board have milled handles. The size of this cutting board is 40 x 30 x 3,5 cm.
