This humidifier draws the dry air from the room, filters out the large particles such as hair and dust, and adds new, fresh water molecules to the air. And it does this without heating the water or producing any visible water vapour. The humidified air is evenly distributed throughout the room, releasing up to 99% less germs than an ultrasonic humidifier.

Using an integrated humidity sensor, the Airfresh Hygro 500 constantly monitors the humidity of the air and displays this with easy readability on the illuminated LCD screen. In automatic mode, the device ensures a consistently healthy degree of humidity by adapting its fan speed automatically if the humidity increases or decreases. However, you can manually set the humidity through continuous adjustment to up to 75% to best suit your needs. The fan speed, and the desired intensity of the humidity output, can also be regulated in three stages – very convenient when you are in a hurry. Once the desired degree of humidity has been reached or if the water tank runs empty, the device switches off automatically. Using the timer function, you can pre-set the duration of humidification up to a maximum of 12 hours. The large removable water tank has a volume of 4.9 litres, making it possible for the Airfresh Hygro 500 to optimally humidify rooms of up to 50 m². The filter display indicates when a filter change is required, so that you can always be sure that the air you breathe is consistently clean.
