High Speed HDMI audio-video cable, in which the transmission is based on fiber optic wires, designed to transmit high-resolution images over long distances without loss of quality. At the speed of light
Claroc's HDMI AOC (Active Optical Cable) cables transmit data in a hybrid way: 4 ultra-thin optical fiber wires carry TMDS data, and 7 tinned copper wires are responsible for grounding, power, Ethernet and additional functions. Fiber optic cables are compatible with standard HDMI ports as the signal conversion takes place in chips mounted inside the cable plugs.

Less disruption
Optical fiber does not generate or is susceptible to electrical interference, which is emitted, for example, by wi-fi networks. Therefore, optical cables guarantee the highest purity of image and sound. HDMI on optical fiber is installed in industry, mines and wherever users particularly care about good image quality. Because you can rely on them.

Lightness and durability
The diameter of long optical HDMI cables is only 5.2 mm, which would not be possible with classic copper cables. They're also lighter, and all Claroc cables longer than 10m come pre-wound on a spool for easy installation and storage.

Typically, fiber optic cables, despite their small diameter, have a limited bending radius. Claroc cables managed to reduce it to only 2 cm, and the cables are more durable and easier to lay. Advanced laser-emitting chips embedded in the plugs of the cable are protected by a solid metal housing with a glossy black finish. HDMI 2.0 standard
Achieving a TMDS bandwidth of 18 Gbps made it possible to transmit a 4:4:4 sampled image, i.e. without any loss in color space, at the resolution you need. In addition, HDMI 2.0 is also a revolution in sound quality. The Claroc fiber optic cable supports 32 channels of audio (8 channels in earlier versions of HDMI), provides 7.1 stereo sound and has a sampling frequency of up to 1536 kHz.

Additional HDMI 2.0 features
HDMI AOC cables support all additional HDMI 2.0 functions, such as CEC (Consumer Electronics Control - convenient, two-way control of devices), Ethernet, displaying 2 Full HD images simultaneously, 3D image or 21:9 aspect ratio.
