The high quality Bass Reflex type enclosure delivers significantly better speaker performance in even the low frequency band. The quality of audible sound is also associated with the bandwidth (±3 dB) which is 40-20,000 Hz, and its sensitivity (2.83 V/1 m) is 90 dB. And, single speaker terminals further ensure that the music is crisp and clear.
The specification of inverters in the enclosure undoubtedly affects the sound quality delivered by the speaker. The Raptor 7 includes a 1″ (25mm) tweeter with a soft dome as well as two 6½” tweeters with an extended low frequency range.
The product includes a 2,500 Hz speaker inverter. The task of that set of filters (speaker inverter) used in speaker sets is to split the signal received by the speaker into a number of narrower bands so that they could be then sent to the correct speaker. That is an extremely important part of a loudspeaker, as a single speaker is not able to work over the entire acoustic bandwidth whilst delivering good or even mediocre quality.
