MOUNTAIN Everest Max: modular gaming keyboard with RGB-LED lighting
The MOUNTAIN Everest Max is a gaming keyboard with extremely durable mechanical Cherry MX switches. Thanks to USB-N-Key-Rollover , any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously, which enables delay-free and loss-free input. With a report rate of 1,000 Hz , inputs are processed every millisecond. This means that changes in the game can be reacted to immediately.

The keyboard has a USB Type-C socket into which the detachable cable is plugged. This has a type A plug at the other end, so that the keyboard is compatible with most PCs. On a USB 3.0 Type A port on the back of the keyboard a mouse can be connected, among other things.
Mechanical switches in detail: Cherry MX Red
Cherry MX Red switches are used in this version . These key switches have a linear switching characteristic and are characterized by a low resistance. This makes them an excellent choice for fast multiple clicks in action games and first-person shooters, because a tactile pressure point is not absolutely necessary for fast attacks. In addition, they are very quiet.
The special thing about the MOUNTAIN Everest Max gaming keyboard is its sophisticated modular concept. The supplied Num-Pad transforms the space-saving TKL base into a complete keyboard if required . Not only can it be removed if necessary, it can also be attached to the left instead of the right or connected via a USB-C cable. There are also four shortcut keys integrated that can be assigned links or macros. Their LC displays can be assigned any desired JPEGs via the software called Base Camp.

The multimedia dock with the rotary wheel can also be removedequipped with an LC display. This not only controls the brightness of the RGB-LED lighting on the keyboard or the volume of the loudspeakers connected to the PC. The LC display can also show all kinds of additional information, such as the time or the CPU load. Macros and settings can be saved in a total of five profiles on the keyboard .
Design, optics and materials
The large, rubberized feet provide additional support. They are attached with magnets and can be increased by two levels with additional rings . The palm rest , which is covered with synthetic leather, is also magnetic . The all-black keyboard cover is made of sturdy aluminum . An RGB-LED-illuminated decorative strip surrounds all four sides of the keyboard and the numpad. The LEDs of the buttons can be set individually. In addition, all kinds of effects and color profiles are available. Another plus point are the stabilizers on the extra-wide keys: MOUNTAIN not only uses Cherry MX switches, they are also lubricated at the factory and thus ensure particularly quiet and smooth typing.
