GoodRam PX500 gen.2 SSD drive with a capacity of 256 GB
By providing up to 4x better performance of sequential and random transfers compared to SSD with SATA III interface and lower latency compared to drives based on the AHCI standard, the second generation GOODRAM PX500 significantly improves computer performance. Its performance will certainly improve the work of more demanding customers, offering reading speeds of up to 2050MB/s. It is also perfect as a stand-alone drive or as an addition to the hard drive in desktop computers and laptops. The capacities available for the PX500 gen.2 make the PX500 gen.2 feel good in both roles.

High performance
By creating a drive based on efficient 3D NAND memory, we achieved sequential transfer parameters of up to 2050 MB/s for reading and 1650 MB/s for writing.
New possibilities with NVMe
The NVM Express communication protocol was designed from the ground up with fast NAND flash media in mind. By using it in the PX500 gen.2, we unlocked the full potential of its memory, controller and PCIe Gen 3 x4 interface. NVMe significantly reduces delays and queuing, making it incomparably faster than SSDs based on AHCI protocols.
Temperature under control
One of the problems that concerns SSDs in the M.2 format is the phenomenon of thermal throttling, i.e. performance limitation due to too high component temperatures. To prevent this, a unique solution was used on the surface of the PX500 gen.2 components by covering the disk with a special foil consisting of copper and graphite. Thanks to this, we achieved very good heat dissipation without increasing the size of the disk.
3-year durability warranty
GOODRAM PX500 of the second generation is available in capacities of 256, 512 GB and 1 TB. All capacities are delivered in M.2 2280 format, with single-sided component placement. Like other consumer drives from the Polish manufacturer, PX500 gen.2 is covered by a 3-year warranty.
