Docking station for the new generation
The USB interface has been the standard for PC hardware and the new USB 3.1 standard entails several improvements. Not only the data transfer rates are much faster but also the charging of smart devices. And finally, the reversible-plug connector is introduced to USB as well. Compared to USB 3.0 the transfer rates are doubled, thus the USB 3.1 interface achieves speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s which makes the interface fast enough to even max out current SSDs. Another novelty, the reversible-plug USB Type-C connector, can be plugged into an appropriate USB Type-C connector.

Docking and loading in record time
This docking station provides enough space for a SATA III hard drive/SSD with the form factor of 2.5" or 3.5". Using the new USB 3.1 Type-C port new speed heights can be achieved and the connection is easier than ever, since the Type-C connector is reversible.

The IB-117-U31 presents itself in noble matt black design of a combination of high-quality aluminum and plastic. A real visual treat in practical pen pocket format.

Backwards compatibility
The IB-117-U31 works with computers and notebooks to USB 3.0 / 2.0 / 1.1 interfaces, with appropriate cables. The full USB 3.1 transfer rate, however, can only be achieved with a USB 3.1 interface.
