Installing this docking station is extremely simple – just plug in the USB-C cable and get it done; your operating system will take care of the drivers’ installation. The docking station allows you not only to connect your favorite device with the USB interface but also to charge your notebook through the USB-C port up to 85W. Do not limit yourself with the notebook display area and connect to an external monitor up to 4K (3840×2160@30Hz) through the HDMI interface. With an integrated LAN port, you can connect to the computer network and the Internet safely, easily and quickly (the station supports 10/100/1000 Mbps). You do not have to worry about WIFI interception, signal interference, and you will also save electricity.

This docking station offers you four USB 3.0 ports that, thanks to backward compatibility, will be able to work not only with your USB 3.1 and 3.0 devices but also with 2.0. One of the ports on the docking station is also equipped with the BC 1.2 specification, which means that your USB device (such as a mobile phone or tablet) will be charged up to 4 times faster than via a conventional USB port! you will appreciate full multimedia experience at work or entertainment in complete privacy with an integrated audio jack that lets you connect your headphones and microphone.

To ensure unimpaired video signal transfer, the video signal output from the notebook/tablet, encapsulated in USB-C signal, must comply with the VESA DisplayPort standard. Without this, a fault (i.e. image flickering) may occur. Notebooks that do not automatically comply with the VESA standard, for example the ACER Switch Alpha 12” or ACER TravelMate X349-G2-M, may still work, although the video quality cannot be guaranteed.

Please make sure to check a compatibility of your device, whether it meets all the requirements for an operation of the specific i-tec product, especially video output (Display Port Alt mode), and/or Power Delivery.
