USB 3.1 for Everyone

IB-U31-02 is a dual-port Super-Speed USB 3.1 PCI Express Add-on card, and it’s compliant with the PCI Express Generation 2 (Dual-lane x2) specification for host PC systems.
The IB-U31-02 works with any PCIe x4, x8 and x16 slot with Generation 2 and enables the ultimate-speed transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s — twice as fast USB 3.0.

In order to get USB 3.1 SuperSpeed+ performance, please use PCI Express Generation 2 slot for card installation.
To satisfy USB 3.1, 10 Gbit/s SuperSpeed+ highest performance, ICY BOX IB-U31-02 adopts the PCIe Gen2 / x2 (10 Gbit/s) interface connector design. User has to plug IB-U31-02 add-on card into PCIe x16 (or x4 above) slot on the mainboard. Due to expansion slot mechanical limitation, this card can NOT be plugged into PCIe x1 slot.

USB from the Future

The Future is there, no not flying cars and live on mars, but at least its now possible to transfer data at a rate of 10 Gbit/s (twice as fast as USB 3.0), and streaming movies in 5k Resolution (5120×2880) is now possible.
Even charging devices with 10 Watt is doable (four times USB 3.0 power).

If you run Windows 8/8.1/10 no driver installation is needed and you are ready to go.
Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008R2 are also supported with the provided driver disc.
