The USB 3.0 interfaces have a power output of 5V at 900mA.
If even more power is required, the expansion card provides an extra 4-pin Molex power connector.
The driver CD allows for quick setup and installation.
Hot Swap
The exchange of connected devices is done without rebooting the PC.
Thus for example digital cameras, USB sticks, printers or video camcorders are easily connected and removed from the PC.
