Ideal for legacy (pre-Thunderbolt) Mac Pro's and the Mac OS X operating system, the Rocket 1022AM, also known as the RocketU Dual USB 3.0 for Mac, is optimized for external storage configurations. The RocketU 1022AM is an affordable USB 3.0 upgrade and will automatically recognize pre-configured external hard disks and SSD's.
Unlike conventional USB cards that are best used as simple device hubs, RocketU HBA’s are uniquely suited for high-speed USB 3.0 storage configurations. The 5Gb/s transfer bandwidth is ideal for a variety of external storage configurations including drive docks, RAID enclosures, and external hard drives & SSD’s.
