With the TS15 , Silverstone offers a multifunctional enclosure for external storage of 2.5-inch drives. It is made of aluminum, which ensures a low weight (good for transport) and an attractive look. However, the main focus is on the external interface. Here Silverstone relies on a fast USB 3.0 port, which achieves significantly higher transfer rates compared to USB 2.0.

In addition, the case has a USB Type-C port that can be used to charge mobile devices. Another USB 3.0 port in Type A format has both the functionality as a fast charging and downstream port. For data transfer, the TS15 supports the fast UASP protocol.

A cable with Type-C plugs and fixing screws are included. Backward compatibility also allows the TS15 to be connected to USB 2.0, but only provides the reduced transmission rate. 2.5 "models with SATA ports are considered as drives, so that HDDs and SSDs can be accommodated equally.
