The DIGITUS® 3.5" USB 3.0 SSD/HDD RAID SATA enclosure is the ideal way to protect your important data from loss. The RAID1 function allows the data to be mirrored and stored identically on both hard drives. The RAID0 function is used to partition the data in blocks between the two hard drives. The enclosure also offers the JBOD function, which allows two hard drives to be combined into a total hard drive. In normal mode, both hard drives are displayed as separate hard drives. The individual modes can be configured using the DIP switch on the enclosure. The USB 3.0 port on the enclosure provides fast data transfer between the source and the enclosure. The RAID enclosure can also be connected to a NAS or a router using a USB port and a NAS function. Thus, it is also possible to use the RAID enclosure within your network.
