The Ortlieb QL2.1 system allows fast and easy single-handed mounting and removal of the panniers. Simply lift the top handle to remove the panniers from the rack.

The same goes for adjusting the mounting position. The QL2.1 hooks on the top of the panniers can be slid forward and backwards, so that the bags can be positioned anywhere on the rack without requiring any tools. They are suitable for racks with a tube diameter up to 16 mm (hook inserts for diameters of 8, 10 & 12 mm are included). There is also a fully adjustable hook at the base of the panniers to secure them tight to the rack, so they won’t flop around. I’ve never experienced or seen an Ortlieb pannier fall off a rack while its properly installed. The QL2.1 system has the advantage that it works with the Ortlieb pannier lock cables.

The panniers are supplied with a shoulder strap and can be carried like a shoulder bag.

Two large and highly reflective 3M Scotchlite reflectors ensure safety in the dark.

The PVC fabric with which these panniers are constructed is incredibly durable and completely waterproof. With the roll down lid, these panniers can be completely submerged while keeping the contents completely dry.
