With its advanced selective entry technology, our PetSafe® microchip cat flap is designed to give your cat easy access to the outdoors while keeping other unwanted cats and animals away from your home. With RFID technology, the PetSafe® microchip cat flap reads the unique microchip ID of your cat without a collar or accessories. When your cat approaches the cat flap, the flap responds by granting access only to your cat. The cat flap remains closed and blocks access for unprogramd cats, wild animals, pests and stray animals. The cat flap is also equipped with a practical 4 manual locking options, with which you can control the access of your cats. The PetSafe® microchip cat flap (PPA19-16145) reads the most common microchip types implanted in cats - FDX-B (15 digits). If you are not sure which type of microchip your cat is wearing, use our microchip compatibility tester. Enter your cat's microchip ID number and verify that your microchip is compatible.
