'Gas under glass’ Optimex hob uses up to 50% less gas than a conventional gas stove. Gas is combusted catalytically in 800°C. Burners operate cyclically – they cease gas consumption once the surface is properly heated and turn it on when needed. Each model features an additional ‘free’ striped spot which heats up during cooking without consuming gas. It’s a perfect solution whenever you need to heat up a dish.

No burners on the hob
Optimex gas hob means no protruding grates, burners and gratings. Burners hidden underneath the ceramics make keeping the hob clean extraordinarily straightforward.

Smart design
Elegant and simple design of the Optimex gas hob makes the Solgaz appliance fit in in almost every kitchen décor. The hob features a larger ceramic surface like in the case of GPC model. New look features also a control panel with a 9 power level slider which allows for even more intuitive hob operation. Exhaust grates changed their appearance, too – now they are even more minimalistic and elegant.

Safety
Beneath the ceramics are hidden catalytic gas burners which through combustion of gas convert received heat into infrared radiation. Each burner is equipped with distinctive flame ignition and gas combustion control system. If something boils over the hob will automatically shut down and send sound signal to let you know something isn’t right. Optimex gas hob features twice as many safety systems compared to ordinary hobs. Gas anti-outflow system is supported by its elements which control the combustion, pressure and quality of gas at all times and messages on the display will prompt you that e.g. the surface is still hot or you have run out of gas.

Cleanness
Sediments in pots and on furniture are not an option thanks to high temperature gas combustion. Fumes are efficiently extracted by ventilation grills located at the back of the hob. Thanks to catalytic combustion 10 times less carbon dioxide is produced on your kitchen compared to traditional gas hobs. Everyday utilization of grills is not an issue either as you can pull them out and wash in a dishwasher.

Runs on every gas
