The Start2Smart belt winder from Rademacher offers an easy entry into the smart home world. The set includes a RolloTron Basis DuoFern 1200-UW wireless belt winder and the new smart bridge and can be expanded at any time with further smart home components. Thanks to the bridge, the roller shutter can be conveniently operated via smartphone app or voice assistant. Thanks to its simple installation, the set is also suitable for smart home beginners and is set up in no time at all. The wireless belt winder included in the Start2Smart kit can be replaced by an existing manual belt winder in just a few simple steps. The RolloTron fits into any common belt box. As soon as the wireless belt winder is connected to the power supply via the mains plug, it opens and closes the roller shutter with just one touch of a button. The bridge is connected to the router and then establishes the connection between the app and the belt winder as a central unit. With the tap of a finger, the virtual roller shutters in the app are pushed to the desired position – and the sun protection immediately moves into exactly this setting. In combination with Google Assistant or Alexa, the roller shutters can be controlled by voice command. Alexa can also be used to set routines by time setting or with sunrise and sunset.
