The Exo Terra rock back wall for terrariums is easy to cut and has an amazingly natural look. It creates a multi-dimensional environment, ideal for climbing reptiles or can simply be used to brighten up the terrarium. Its color and texture, like all Exo Terra terrarium decorations, are in perfect harmony with the environment, humid or dry. The grooves on the back are provided to hide cables or pipes from pumps or the Heat Wave Rock. The rear wall is made of black polystyrene, so that it is not noticeable when accidentally damaged. (this would not be the case with white polystyrene). Polystyrene has the advantage that it insulates and is easy to cut to fit any size terrarium.
