EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) is one of Bosch's specially developed batteries for all cars with high energy requirements. These require batteries that can withstand varying voltages, increased cycling capacity and ability to cope with deep discharges, lower fuel consumption and CO2 reduction. The EFB batteries are therefore a combination of AGM and special polyester fabric covering the positive plate and containing additional active material. The EFB batteries have twice the cycle life compared to ordinary batteries, greater charge acceptance, higher density of the active material
