The PSM 18 LI cordless multi-sander is a compact, powerful all-rounder for sanding and polishing, even in hard-to-reach areas and on small surfaces. The Bosch microfilter system keeps the surrounding area clean when working with the PSM 18 LI. The built-in dust extraction element draws dust directly into the microfilter box provided. A powerful lithium-ion battery and charger are also available as separate accessories for the sander. Both components can be used in all tools in the Bosch 18 V system. Thanks to the lithium-ion technology, the separate battery for the multi-sander is always ready for use as the lithium-ion battery does not experience any memory effect or self-discharge. What’s more, the integrated Bosch Electronic Cell Protection system ensures that the replaceable battery pack has a particularly long lifetime. The lithium-ion battery and 1.5-hour charger can be used for all tools in the Bosch 18 V system. An 18 volt battery can therefore be used in a number of different Bosch tools. This includes drills, saws, hedgecutters, grass trimmers, lights and leaf blowers.

The grip surfaces on the PSM 18 LI are equipped with a non-slip softgrip coating. This makes it easy to use and stops users from getting tired, even when used over longer periods of time. Bosch also paid closed attention to ergonomics when designing its microfilter system: it is perfectly positioned to provide the user with a clear view of the sanding surface at all times. To ensure that the sanding paper is used as efficiently as possible, the delta tip on the sanding paper and sanding plate are easy to remove and rotate. The sanding sheets are secured using a micro Velcro-type fastening system that remains extremely effective even after several years of intensive use.
