Black & Decker GLC3630L20 36V Cordless Strimmer
The 36V Cordless Strimmer by Black & Deckeris a powerful, ergonomically-designed string trimmer that is ideal for trimming excess grass growing around a wall, fence, flowerbed or pathway and gives lawn borders a neat and tidy finish.
Power and speed
In addition to the powerful 36V battery, this Strimmer is powered by advanced E-drive technology, a high-torque gear system which can power through the toughest overgrown areas quickly and without clogging. The 30cm cutting swathe along with the fast cutting speed of up to 8500rpm offers fast, powerful cutting and is ideal for larger gardens and heavy-duty applications.
The 36V Strimmer will cut up to 3750 linear metres in one charge, so you can complete most garden tasks without having to stop to recharge. Power Select allows you to optimize the run time for your application; simply select ‘Eco’ mode for light-duty applications that require less power, or ‘Turbo’ mode for maximum power to tackle tougher jobs.
Comfort and control
This Strimmer has an ergonomic design, making it comfortable and easy to use. The telescopic handle allows you to adjust the height of the Strimmer so that it is comfortable for you to use, and at 3.5kg this is a lightweight Strimmer. What’s more, the secondary handle distributes the weight evenly, and the primary handle is fitted with a rubber, over-moulded non-slip grip for comfort, therefore reducing fatigue particularly on prolonged work.
Save time and effort
No need to worry about finding extension leads or plug sockets, the Lithium Ion battery gives you complete cordless freedom so you can access hard-to-reach areas of your garden. What’s more, the Strimmer features a Lithium-Ion battery which once charged, holds its charge for up to 18 months whilst idle. Lithium Ion batteries have no “memory effect”, they do not need to be run flat before charging. You can therefore simply top-up the charge before using it. Unlike traditional NiMH batteries, Lithium Ion batteries work at much lower temperatures, so you can use the Strimmer all year round.
The Strimmer also features the innovative automatic single line feed system, known as AFS (Auto Feed System). The AFS system automatically feeds out the line from the spool when needed, unlike traditional “bump feed” string trimmers, which require you to ‘bump’ the head of the string trimmer on the ground to release more spool.
