Safety tests - All UVEX eyewear models are thoroughly tested in the laboratory in special tests. This guarantees high quality, functionality and safety. The data from the tests is then used to improve the glasses. Impact resistance - UVEX eyewear is tested in accordance with EN ISO 12312-1:2013. The test is carried out by propelling a 6 mm steel ball weighing 0.86 g into the lens at 45 m/s (162 km/h). The glasses, and therefore your eyes, are protected against mechanical damage.
